Amadou Chab Touré is a professor of aesthetics and gallery director. He has taught at the National Institute of the Arts and the Conservatory of Multimedia Arts and Crafts, both in Bamako. Director of the first contemporary art gallery in Mali (Galerie Chab), Chab Touré is also an independent curator, art critic and writer. He lives in Ségou, where he directs the Maison Carpe Diem (an art space, cafe and library).
