Charlotte: Activists Kick off the DNC

Over the Labor Day weekend leading up to the Democratic National Convention, thousands of protestors took to the streets of Charlotte, North Carolina, labeling the DNC’s host city “Wall Street South” because it is home to the world headquarters of Bank of America. Hip-hop artist and activist Jasiri X reported from the scene, capturing the sights and sounds of rallies that culminated in a march to the Bank of America Corporate Center, the most prominent feature of Charlotte’s skyline.
