Michelle Marozik is an artist living in Brooklyn with her husband and son. She received her BFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland and a MFA from the Rosary College in Florence, Italy. Her work has been shown in Europe and the United States and is in numerous private collections.
Marozik began the drawing series “Billionaires and Politicians” in 2011 as an investigation of U.S. politicians and the large financiers that fund their campaigns, and how that money influences the policies and politics of the United States. As a venue to show the drawings, she created the blog Billionaires and Politicians. The series was on view at PS bookshop in Brooklyn during the 2012 presidential election.
