Jérôme Tubiana is a writer and photographer who has covered conflicts in Sudan, South Sudan, Chad and the Horn of Africa for over twenty years. His work has been published in Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, the London Review of Books, Asymptote, Le Monde Diplomatique, National Geographic Magazine-France, Géo and XXI. He has worked as a researcher and photographer for organizations including the United Nations, the Small Arms Survey and the International Crisis Group. He is the author of several books, including Chroniques du Darfour (Glénat, 2010).
